Recycling Frameworks for Daubert Cromwell VCI Products

Daubert VCI polyethylene films are engineered for compatibility with standard mechanical recycling streams. Daubert VCI papers and multi-material packaging variants, depending on their specific technical construction, are also compatible with industrial recycling processes.

In general, packaging material is considered compatible with recycling processes when it satisfies two core conditions:

  • Processing Capabilities: The material must possess a physical form that allows industrial processing without technical difficulty. The mechanical recycling of poly-coated paper products depends on the specific sorting and re-pulping equipment deployed at the processing facility.

  • Chemical Composition Standards: The material composition must not present documented hazards to health or the environment when processed within standard industrial recycling streams. Daubert formulations utilise active VCI components engineered to meet established safety regulations, and their concentrations are significantly diluted during the integration process of any recycled secondary raw materials. The resulting post-industrial material is classified as non-hazardous under applicable supply chain safety metrics when handled in accordance with standard occupational and material guidelines.
