Premium Metal-Guard^® VCI Film

Premium Metal-Guard® is a volatile corrosion inhibitor (VCI) packaging film designed to protect multi-metal components during manufacture, storage, and transit. This heat-sealable, low-density polyethylene (LDPE) film features a proprietary blend of corrosion inhibitors integrated throughout the material matrix rather than superficially applied. It is strong, transparent, and supplied standard in a distinctive shade of blue to identify it as a verified product of Daubert Europe.

Technical Performance Attributes:

• Provides long-term corrosion protection for brass, copper, bronze, iron, steel, nickel, tin, zinc, and zinc-galvanised metals.
• Formulated to maintain component surfaces in a clean, dry condition, protecting against oxidation until deployed.
• Approved as military packaging in accordance with ARDEC drawing 13027484.

Available Configurations:

• Bags & Tubing. Supplied as flat, re-sealable, and gusseted bags, tubing, bonnets, and customised fabrications.
• Shrink Film. Transparent, UV-stabilised shrink film supplied in wide widths for covering large components and heavy machinery.
• High Strength Premium Metal-Guard. VCI film formulated for enhanced mechanical resistance and puncture protection.
• X-O Wrap Shrink Film. Engineered for outdoor storage applications. An opaque, UV-stabilised, high-durability VCI film for protecting large equipment and machinery stored in exposed environments. Available up to 10 mils thick and 32 feet wide.
• Masking Film. Surface-specific temporary protection.
• Stretch film. Engineered with specific cling properties for automated or manual pallet wrapping.
• Colour Matching. Standard in Daubert blue. Alternative colours are available by custom technical order.
